Meriame Louattani
Human nature, an enigma to reveal, a mystery to probe. Art is my tool to dive into these elusive depths. My own existence is the inspiration of my work. I share emotions and experiences with the subjects I paint. My Franco-Moroccan heritage, childhood memories, family stories, all of that is intertwined and embedded in my artistic practice. Painting gives me a singular voice, a way to express what cannot be said with words, thus creating new links between me, others and the world around me.
Biography
Mariane Louattani is a Franco-Moroccan artist born in 1993. She currently works in Bordeaux, in a permanent residency called L'Espace 29. She graduated from Créatech school in Lyon, with a BA in Fashion Design as well as a certification in Design and Moulding at l'École de la Chambre Syndicale du Pap et de la Couture Parisienne in Paris.
